To help support the engagement work surrounding the Scottish Government’s consultation on Incorporating the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child, Children in Scotland hosted a children’s rights discussion day in July 2019 with 20 children and young people aged between 8 and 21. Children and young people came from across Scotland including Aberdeen, Inverness, Dumfries, Gourock and Orkney. This report outlines the findings from this engagement work, which were used to inform Children in Scotland’s response to the Scottish Government consultation.
