Summary report of young people’s recommendations regarding the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child Committee’s Concluding Observations  on the implementation of the convention in the United Kingdom.
Article 12 in Scotland, their partner organisations and peer educators engaged an consulted widely with 118 young Gypsy/Travellers in a process of rights-based peer education. This report comprises the voices of young Gypsy/Travellers from Scotland, England, Wales and Northern Ireland.
This report contains the views, opinions and recommendations of the young people who participated in Article 12 in Scotland’s research processes, with regards to the Concluding Observations published in 2016, and the issues which they feel continue to impact upon their lives, and those of their families, friends and communities.
