Bannockburn Belongs was delivered at The Battle of Bannockburn between September 2022 and January 2023. It aimed to better understand the needs of young people (age 13-21) in relation to Scottish heritage by involving participants in the co-design of a creative output. A group of young people were recruited as volunteers and attended fortnightly sessions at The Battle of Bannockburn. Session content included pre- and post-project evaluation, a weapons handling workshop, a heritage careers information session and, of course, devising, designing and planning their creative output.
The project culminated in an event delivered by the young people in December 2022.
